Caring For Sheers

Sheers are typically synthetics and are composed of polyester.  Drycleaning is strongly recommended.

What to expect with Sheers:
  • fabric may be slippery
  • usually reversible
  • both sides of the fabric look the same
  • pins and needles may leave holes, marks
  • inner construction shows from the outside
  • won't hold a crease
  • does not unravel

Wearability:
  • durable and strong
  • long-wearing
  • may attract static
  • subject to snags
  • resists wrinkles and creases

Suggested care:
  • dryclean only
  • dry iron - not too hot, as a hot iron may melt the material
